From the depths of R'Lyeh he awakes.
<--stumble this tumbl(r)
It’s got the stuff kids want but don’t really want to want.
Count Cthulhu is where it’s really at.
“I have seen beyond the bounds of infinity and drawn down daemons from the stars. . . . I have harnessed the shadows that stride from world to world to sow death and madness. . . .”
When you do it right, it’s horrifying.
….IIII’MMMMM FUCCKKKINNGGGGG AWWWESOOOMMMEEE!!!
Happy 122nd Birthday H. P. Lovecraft, (August 20th, 1890 - March 15th, 1937)
Today, in your honor, we will do nothing but unravel our sanities, and cower at the indescribable horror of shadows. Thank you so much for what you’ve given us.
“That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.”
After turning up to work admittedly in a bit of a state yesterday and getting sent home by a pretty sympathetic boss.
I am now up early scrubbed up well and heading in early as well. I like this work shirt, I now found out it’s ok for me to have my tattoos showing. Winner.
Showing that tattoo in public IS considered a sign of impending doom though, so…. win some lose some.
I’ve seen enough Wes Anderson films to know where this is going…
I only know a few Old Ones.
*slow clap*
Captain Mythos - This is an idea I had ages ago and finally decided to commit to paper - a “superhero” who gets his powers by speaking a magic word (“CTHULHU!”) and gaining the traits of a variety of Elder Gods from the Lovecraftian universe. He is not in the least bit similar to, or inspired by, a certain World’s Mightiest Mortal. Nope, not at all…
This is also going to be the basis for a print, which I should have available at the very-soon Spokane ComiCon.
The Avengers would have been a short movie if this dude had been around. (But also, The Avengers are probably not the ones who would have won.)

Not as nightmarish as HP made it out to seem.
Unless you have to listen to the whole thing.
